Absolute phagocyte count (apc) - the number of phagocytes (neutrophils and monocytes-macrophages) in a cubic millimeter of blood. The apc is the sum of the neutrophils (segs and bands), monocytes, and macrophages times one hundredth (1/100) of the white blood cell count.
