(as-et-am'-in-ol), C^H^NO^ A reaction-product of paranitrobenzoyl chlorid with eugenol-sodium, followed by reduction and acetylization. It occurs as white scales or crystalline powder, soluble in alcohol and insoluble in water, and melting at 160 C. It is used in pulmonary tuberculosis. Syn., Para- acetamido -benzoyleugenol; A cetamido-benzoyl.
