Acidovorax facilis - a species of aerobic, gram negative, rod shaped bacteria assigned to the phylum proteobacteria. This bacteria is motile by a single polar flagellum, oxidase and catalase positive, chemoorganotrophic, gelatinase positive and can grow on l tryptophan culture. A. Facilis was originally isolated from soil and is used as a soil inoculant in horticulture and agriculture.
