Adolescent health, also known as Youth Health or Teen Health, refers to the health and medical care of individuals who are in the adolescent stage of development, typically between the ages of 10 and 19 years old.

Etymology

Adolescent health is a subfield of Public Health that focuses on the physical, psychological, and social health issues that adolescents face. It includes preventive health care and health education for adolescents, as well as the diagnosis and treatment of health problems in this age group.
