Agrology

Agrology (pronounced: /əˈɡrɒlədʒi/) is a branch of soil science dealing with the production of crops. The term is derived from the Greek words 'agros' meaning field and 'logos' meaning study.

Etymology

The term 'Agrology' is derived from two Greek words: 'agros' which means field, and 'logos' which means study. Thus, Agrology literally translates to 'the study of fields'.
