Beverages (pronunciation: /ˈbɛv(ə)rɪdʒ/) are liquids intended for human consumption. They are consumed to quench thirst, as well as for their nutritional values and social functions. Beverages come in a wide variety of types, including water, tea, coffee, juice, soft drinks, and alcoholic drinks.
