It is used in patients who have already been treated with anti-cancer medicines including docetaxel. It is also being studied in the treatment of other types of cancer. Cabazitaxel stops cancer cells from growing and dividing and can kill them. It's a kind of taxane. Also called Jevtana and Taxoid XRP6258
