Comamonas terrigena - a species of aerobic, gram negative, rod and cocci shaped bacterium assigned to the phylum proteobacteria. This species is motile by polar, lophotrichous flagella, catalase peroxidase, catalase and oxidase positive, degrades phenol and reduces nitrate. C. Terrigena is found in soil and rarely found to be pathogenic in humans.
