(kon-du-ran' -gin) [condurango]. A mixture of glucosids from condu- rango bark, occurring as an amorphous yellow powder of an aromatic bitter taste, soluble in water, alcohol, and chloroform. It is used as a stomachic and astringent in gastric cancer and chronic dyspepsia. Dose tV~"4 g 1 "- (0-006-0.016 Gm.) 3 times daily.
