Congential prolonged qt
Also called Congenital long QT syndrome (LQTS), it is a hereditary cardiac disease characterized by a prolongation of the QT interval at basal ECG predisposing those affected to cardiac arrythmias such as torsade de pointes (TdP) or ventricular fibrillation (VF) leading to risk of sudden death.
