Cyclic GMP (pronounced as /ˈsaɪklɪk ˈdʒiːɛmˈpiː/), also known as cGMP, is a cyclic Nucleotide derived from Guanosine triphosphate (GTP). The term "cyclic GMP" is derived from the cyclic structure of the molecule and the presence of a guanine nucleotide.
Etymology
