Economics and Human Biology (pronunciation: /ɪˌkɒnəˈmɪks ænd ˈhjuːmən baɪˈɒlədʒi/) is an interdisciplinary field of study that explores the complex relationship between economic behavior, biological processes, and human health.

The term "Economics" originates from the Greek words "oikos" (house) and "nomos" (law), meaning the rules or laws of the household. "Human Biology" is derived from the Greek word "bios" (life) and the Latin word "logia" (study), referring to the study of human life.
