Enzyte (pronounced /ɛnˈzaɪt/) is a dietary supplement that was originally marketed by Berkeley Premium Nutraceuticals.

Etymology

The term "Enzyte" is derived from the word "enzyme", which refers to a substance produced by a living organism that acts as a catalyst to bring about a specific biochemical reaction.

Description

Enzyte is a natural supplement designed to promote male sexual health and vitality. It contains a proprietary blend of herbs and medical plants, including Ginkgo Biloba, Korean Red Ginseng, and Horny Goat Weed. These ingredients are believed to enhance blood flow and stamina, although the effectiveness of Enzyte has been a subject of debate.

Controversy

In the mid-2000s, the company behind Enzyte was involved in a series of legal issues, including false advertising claims and credit card fraud. The founder of Berkeley Premium Nutraceuticals, Steve Warshak, was sentenced to prison in 2008 for his role in these fraudulent activities.
