Femoral (pronounced: /fɪˈmɔːrəl/) refers to anything related to the femur or thigh bone, the longest and strongest bone in the human body. The term is derived from the Latin word femur, meaning thigh.

Femoral Artery

The Femoral Artery is the main artery that provides oxygenated blood to the tissues of the leg. It is a continuation of the external iliac artery and becomes the popliteal artery as it passes through the knee.
