Short definition | gilteritinib fumarate (GIL-teh-RIH-tih-nib FYOO-muh-rayt) A drug used to treat adults with acute myeloid leukemia that has come back or has not improved with other treatments and have a mutation (change) in the leukemia FLT3 gene. Gilteritinib fumarate blocks certain proteins that can prevent cancer cells from growing. |
