gonadoblastoma - (pronounced) (goh-NA-doh-blas-TOH-muh) A rare tumor consisting of more than one cell type found in the gonads (testes and ovaries), including germ cells, stromal cells and granulosa cells. Gonadoblastomas are usually benign (not cancer), but they can sometimes become malignant (cancer) if left untreated. Most patients with gonadoblastoma have certain chromosomal abnormalities and abnormal gonads. Gonadoblastomas are most common in children and young adults
