Health problem (pronunciation: /ˈhɛlθ ˈprɒbləm/) is a general term that encompasses a wide range of physical, mental, and emotional issues that affect an individual's well-being.

The term "health problem" is derived from the Old English "hǣlth" (health) and "problem" from the Latin "problema", meaning a question proposed for solution.

Definition

A health problem is any condition that impairs the normal functioning of the body or mind.
