LNCaP

LNCaP (pronounced "el-en-cap") is a human prostate cancer cell line used in medical and biological research. It is derived from a lymph node metastasis of a human prostatic adenocarcinoma.

Etymology

The term "LNCaP" is an acronym derived from the first letters of Lymph Node Carcinoma of the Prostate.
