Short definitionMZL - An indolent (slow-growing) type of B-cell non-Hodgkin's lymphoma that begins to form in certain areas (the marginal zones) of the lymphatic tissue. There are three types, depending on whether it forms in the spleen, lymph nodes, or other lymphoid tissue that is high in B cells (a type of white blood cell).
