Short definition | Onureg - (pronounced) (ON-yoo-reg) drug that contains the active substance azacitidine and is used to treat adults with certain types of acute myeloid leukemia. It is used in patients whose cancer is in its first complete remission after intensive induction chemotherapy and who have not been able to complete intensive therapy that would cure their cancer. |
