Positive psychology (/ˈpɒzɪtɪv saɪˈkɒlədʒi/) is a branch of psychology that focuses on the study and promotion of positive aspects of human experience, such as happiness, gratitude, resilience, and strengths. The term was popularized by psychologist Martin Seligman in the late 20th century.
