relugolix - (pronounced) (reh-loo-GOH-lix) drug used to treat adults with advanced prostate cancer. Relugolix binds to gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) receptors in the pituitary gland, preventing the pituitary gland from making the hormones follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing hormone (LH). This causes the testicles to stop producing testosterone. Relugolix can stop the growth of cancer cells that need testosterone to grow. It's a type of GnRH antagonist. Also called Orgovyx
