It is also used in patients who cannot be treated with surgery or radiation therapy. Sonidegib phosphate is also being studied to treat other types of cancer. Sonidegib phosphate blocks a type of protein involved in tissue growth and repair and can block the growth of cancer cells. It's kind of an antagonist of the Hedgehog signaling pathway. Also called Erismodegib, LDE225 and Odomzo
