US Foods

US Foods (pronounced /juː ɛs fuːdz/) is one of the largest foodservice distributors in the United States. The company provides food and related products to more than 250,000 customers, including independent and multi-unit restaurants, healthcare and hospitality entities, government and educational institutions.

Etymology

The name "US Foods" is derived from the company's focus on providing food products across the United States. The company was originally known as U.S. Foodservice until 2011, when it was rebranded to its current name.
