Mezcla de aceite y agua que se combina con un antígeno específico para estimular la respuesta inmunitaria a este antígeno. Está en estudio en inmunoterapia y como forma de aumentar la respuesta inmunitaria a las vacunas contra el cáncer. Es un tipo de modulador inmunitario. También se llama adyuvante incompleto de Freund y Montanide ISA-51.
