Nearly

Nearly (/ˈnɪərli/), from the Old English neahgeare, meaning "almost, nearly", is a term often used in medical contexts to describe a condition or state that is close to, but not quite, a certain standard or level.

Usage in Medical Context

In a medical context, nearly is often used to describe the state of a patient's health or the progress of a treatment. For example, a doctor might say that a patient is nearly recovered, meaning that they are close to full recovery but not quite there yet. Similarly, a treatment might be nearly complete, indicating that it is close to being finished but still requires a bit more time or effort.
