Acidovorax temperans - a species of aerobic, gram negative, rod shaped bacteria assigned to the phylum proteobacteria. This bacteria is motile by a single polar flagellum, oxidase positive, chemoorganotrophic, resistant to penicillin and can reduce nitrites. A. Temperans is commonly found in soil.
