Summary

Description
English: AP, RAO and caudal views of hysterosalpingography. A uterus as seen on hysterosalpingography. An 8Fr urinary catheter filled with contrast is used to cannulate the cervix and inject the contrast into the uterus. Since on AP view of the pelvis, the uterus is seems to be retroverted to the right, the C-arm to turned to the right anterior oblique (RAO) position and caudally to better visualise the anatomy of the uterus.
  • This is an undecouch C-arm image intensifier (the image receptor is located above the patient's table while the X-ray emitter is located below the table).
