Summary

Description
English: Model of the LMBR1-Sonic Hedgehog (SHH) topologically associating domain (TAD) impacted in Acheiropodia. The cohesin complex is a protein ring that assists in TAD formation. Removal of 3 CTCF sites prevents interaction of the ZRS enhancer with SHH promoter, resulting in decreased expression of SHH. Created using BioRender, inspired by Ushiki et al., 2021.
