Summary

Description
English: This is a modification of File:Heme-Synthesis-Chemical-Details-NEW.svg produced by MrNerdy. The porphyrin structures have been reflected (mirror-image) so that the sidechains are in the usually-described order. Subscript "2" in H2O has been rendered bold in the hope that this will correct the inaccurate display of this as HO2 in the thumbnail.
