Summary
DescriptionNF solute transport.jpg
English: Schematic representation of solute transport mechanisms in nanofiltration. These are the mechanisms through which solutes in nanofiltration transport through the membrane. These include diffusion (movement of solute down a concentration gradient), convection (solute transported by bulk fluid motion) and electro-migration (ion movement due to the membrane potential gradient).[1]
