English: A 34 year old woman developed a febrile illness. Within days she experienced blurry vision in her right eye (OD). The other, left (OS), eye was affected a few days later, too. Visual acuity was OD 2/60, OS 6/24, not improving on pinhole. She had bilateral central scotomata and there was a right relative afferent pupillary deficit (RAPD). |
