Summary
Description A uterine malformation is a type of female genital malformation resulting from an abnormal development of the Müllerian duct(s) during embryogenesis. The prevalence of uterine malformation is estimated to be 6-7% in the human female population. They may cause premature birth. Didelphis and bicornuate uterus are the normal anatomy in some mammals, just not in humans (see w:Uterus#Other animals.
