Short definitiongranulocytic sarcoma (GRAN-yoo-loh-SIH-tik sar-KOH-muh) A rare type of cancer consisting of myeloblasts (a type of immature white blood cell) that grow outside of the bone marrow and the blood. The tumor cells may appear green when viewed under a microscope.
