History
Northeast College of Health Sciences was established in 1919 as the Columbia Institute of Chiropractic by Frank Dean. The college underwent several name changes, becoming the New York Chiropractic College in 1977, and finally adopting its current name in 2021 to reflect its broader focus on health sciences.
Academics
The college offers a Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) program, which is accredited by the Council on Chiropractic Education. In addition to the D.C. program, the college provides master's degree programs in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, as well as a Master of Science in Applied Clinical Nutrition.
