American bagel and coffee chain
Einstein Bros. Bagels is an American chain that specializes in bagels and coffee. The company was established in 1995 by the chain restaurant corporation Boston Market, which was then known as Boston Chicken. The brand was created by combining several smaller bagel chains, including Brackman Brothers Bagels and Noah's New York Bagels.
History
Einstein Bros. Bagels was founded in 1995 as part of a strategy by Boston Market to diversify its offerings. The company quickly expanded by acquiring existing bagel chains and rebranding them under the Einstein Bros. name. In 1996, the company acquired Noah's New York Bagels, a popular West Coast bagel chain, and Brackman Brothers Bagels, further expanding its reach.
In 2001, Einstein Bros. Bagels was acquired by New World Coffee, which later became Einstein Noah Restaurant Group, Inc.. The company continued to grow, opening new locations across the United States. In 2014, the Einstein Noah Restaurant Group was acquired by JAB Holding Company, a privately held German conglomerate.
Menu

Locations
As of 2023, Einstein Bros. Bagels operates over 700 locations across the United States. The chain is known for its presence in urban areas, college campuses, and airports, making it a convenient option for a quick meal or snack.
