Ultomiris - (pronounced) (UL-toh-SEA-is) medicine used to treat adults with paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria (a rare disease affecting red blood cells) and adults and children from 1 month of age with atypical haemolytic uremic syndrome (a very rare disease in which tiny blood clots form in small blood vessels). This can help prevent the breakdown of red blood cells and the formation of blood clots. Ultomiris is a type of monoclonal antibody. Also called ravulizumab
