Ajay Kakkar, Baron Kakkar (pronunciation: Ah-jay Kak-kar, Baron Kak-kar) is a prominent figure in the medical field, particularly known for his contributions to the study of Thrombosis and Haemostasis.

Ajay Kakkar, Baron Kakkar is a British professor of surgery, specializing in the prevention and treatment of Venous Thromboembolism. He is also the director of the Thrombosis Research Institute in London. In 2010, he was made a life peer as Baron Kakkar, of Loxbeare in the County of Devon, and sits in the House of Lords as a crossbencher.
