DizzyFIX

DizzyFIX (/ˈdɪziːfɪks/) is a medical device designed to help individuals manage and alleviate symptoms associated with vertigo, a condition characterized by dizziness and a loss of balance.

Etymology

The term "DizzyFIX" is a combination of the English word "dizzy", referring to the feeling of dizziness, and "fix", implying a solution or remedy.

Usage

The DizzyFIX device is used as a visual aid to perform the Epley Maneuver, a series of head movements designed to treat Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV). BPPV is a common cause of vertigo. The device guides the user through the maneuver, helping to reposition the tiny crystals in the inner ear that can cause vertigo symptoms.
