Gamunex-C (pronounced: ga-MU-nex C) is a brand name for the medication immune globulin (IGIV), which is used to treat various autoimmune disorders, infections, and immune deficiencies.

Etymology

The name "Gamunex-C" is a combination of the words "gamma" and "immunex", referring to the gamma globulins, a class of proteins in the blood, to which immunoglobulins belong. The "C" stands for "concentrated".

Usage
