HealthCare.gov (/ˈhɛlθkeərˌɡɒv/) is a health insurance exchange website operated under the United States federal government under the provisions of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA, often referred to simply as 'Obamacare').

The term "HealthCare.gov" is a combination of the words "healthcare" and "government". The ".gov" domain extension is used by the U.S. government for its official websites.

Description
