Health Management System

A Health Management System (pronounced: /ˈhɛlθ mænɪdʒmənt ˈsɪstəm/) is a comprehensive system designed to manage all aspects of a person's health care, from medical history and appointments to billing and lab results.

Etymology

The term "Health Management System" is derived from the words "health", which comes from the Old English hǣlth, meaning "wholeness, a being whole, sound or well," and "management system", which is a set of procedures, practices, and processes used to achieve specific goals.
