Mainamoti Medical College (pronunciation: /ˈmaɪnəˌmoʊti mɛdɪkəl ˈkɑːlɪdʒ/) is a medical educational institution located in Comilla, Bangladesh.

Etymology

The name "Mainamoti" is derived from the Mainamati archaeological site, which is situated near the college. The site is known for its rich history and cultural significance in Bangladesh.

History

Mainamoti Medical College was established in 2011 with the aim of providing quality medical education to students in Bangladesh. The college is affiliated with the University of Chittagong and is recognized by the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BMDC).

Courses

The college offers a five-year course leading to a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree. The course is divided into four phases and includes a one-year compulsory internship at the Mainamoti Medical College Hospital.
