Short definition | Nijmegen Hernia Syndrome - (pronounced) (NY-may-gen BRAY-kij SIN-drome) rare inherited disorder characterized by a small head, smaller-than-normal height, unusual facial features, and other growth and development problems. People with Nijmegen breakage syndrome have a weakened immune system, which can mean they have frequent sinus, lung, and other respiratory infections. |
