PFT - A test to measure lung function. It measures how much air the lungs can hold and how fast air is moving in and out of the lungs. It also measures how much oxygen is used and how much carbon dioxide is given off when you breathe. A PFT can be used to diagnose lung disease and see how well the disease is being treated. Also called pulmonary function test and pulmonary function test
