Pentosan Polysulfate Sodium (pronunciation: pen-TOE-san pol-ee-SUL-fate SOE-dee-um), often abbreviated as PPS, is a medication primarily used for the treatment of Interstitial Cystitis, a chronic condition that causes bladder pain and frequent urination.
