There may be one or more of the following causes: 1) a decrease in the number of red blood cells causing anemia; 2) the amount of calcium in the blood is very high because the bones are being damaged; 3) more than three bone tumors (plasmocytomas) are found; or 4) high levels of M protein found in the blood or urine |
