Fenfluramine is a withdrawn drug. The year of withdrawal was 1997, countries it was withdrawn in include European Union, UK, US, India, South Africa, others, reason(s) for withdrawal include Cardiac valvular disease, pulmonary hypertension, cardiac fibrosis; re-approved in June 2020 for the treatment of seizures associated with Dravet syndrome, under FDA orphan drug rules.
