Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)

An individual must meet one of the following three tests:
- (a) have a physical or mental impairment that substantially limits one or more of the major life activities of such individual;
- (b) have a record of such an impairment; or
- (c) be regarded as having an impairment.
- (Same as Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Fair Housing Amendments of 1988.)
