Augie Nieto (pronounced: AW-gee NEE-eh-toe) is a prominent figure in the field of physical fitness and neurodegenerative diseases. He is best known as the co-founder of Life Fitness, a leading global manufacturer of exercise equipment, and for his advocacy work in Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) research following his own diagnosis with the disease.
